Weather Update in Varanasi on 9th May

The month of Jeth has begun. Now the heat will trouble people this month. The impact of this is already being seen in North India for the past two days. If we talk about the Varanasi district in Uttar Pradesh, the sky will be clear on Tuesday, May 10. Due to the clear sky, the sun’s heat will make people feel the torment of the summer. In addition, a heatwave may also occur in the afternoon.

According to the website of the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the maximum temperature on Tuesday, May 10, could reach up to 38 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature is expected to remain at 23 degrees Celsius. However, the weather department estimates that the temperature will increase in the coming days of May. It is feared that the temperature may reach up to 44 degrees Celsius in the month of May. Due to the increasing heat in Varanasi, there is a lot of silence on the ghats and roads during the afternoon. The temperature will rise further after May 11.

Manoj Srivastava, a weather scientist at Banaras Hindu University, said that on May 9, there were changes in the weather due to a western disturbance and the presence of clouds, but their impact is not being felt here. He said that the weather will trouble people more and the wrath of the heatwave will increase after May 10. It should be noted that the weather in Varanasi was pleasant at the beginning of May, with some rain, but once again the heat will trouble people.
